In order to help you select the correct size underfloor heating mat or cable, please have the following information available when you contact us. Please note we supply Elektra underfloor heating products to the Irish market only.

1. First, measure the size of the room(s) you wish to install the underfloor heating mats / cables in. e.g. 3.5 metres x 2 metres = 7 square metres

2. Now measure the size of all the fixed obstructions in the room, i.e. bath, toilet, kitchen units, etc. Heating mats & cables cannot be installed under fixed obstructions. e.g. total area of fixed obstructions 2 square metres

3. Deduct fixed obstructions from the size of the room. e.g. 7m² – 2m² = 5m²

4. Now decide how many watts per square metre you require (ask us for advice if you are not sure).
